We are delighted to announce the signing of Aqvital FC Csákvár player Bence Varga. The 28-year-old left-back played 29 matches last season, starting 28 (!) of them; he scored against Szeged and provided an assist against Gyirmót.
Varga, who came through the youth system in Fehérvár, previously spent three seasons with NB II side Siófok.
“The conditions are very professional and obviously the goal is to win the league. I already know roughly half the squad, and the players have been very welcoming and kind to me. When Honvéd first approached me, my eyes lit up immediately, because everyone knows what a prestigious club this is. I think anyone who gets to play football for a club with such a great history can be proud of themselves.
I have already played in the same team as Bonifác Csonka, and I also know Dominik Csontos from Fehérvár. My goal is to help the team win the league; I want to play as much as possible and settle into the team well.”
Welcome to Kispest, Bence!
