In Round 30 of the NB III South-East group, Honvéd II hosted sixth-placed Csepel in the final match of the league season.
Although we started the match more dangerously, the visitors took the lead in the 15th minute. After a long ball, Guilinai turned away from Sebe and crossed for the arriving Fésü, who fired past Papp into the bottom-left corner (0–1). Two minutes later Lőrinc Papp saved Urbin's one-on-one, before Gulinai curled the rebound just wide. Towards the end of the half, Kiszely had to hold Sebe's long-range effort. Five minutes before the break, Giuliani was played through well on the right and fired Csepel's second goal into the far corner (0–2).
Fortunately, we started the second half with a quick goal. After a free-kick from the right, Koppány Kis timed his run perfectly and headed into the net (1–2). Unfortunately, just under ten minutes later László Takács's side restored their two-goal advantage: Halácsi carried the ball along the edge of the penalty area under pressure from several defenders before aiming for the bottom-right corner and finding it (1–3). Csepel therefore won 3–1 and retained sixth place, while our team finished the championship in eighth.
