Our league campaign begins on Monday evening, and with a genuine derby as we travel to the Sóstói Stadium in Székesfehérvár. Ahead of the league opener, we asked our attacking midfielder Ákos Zuigeber about the lessons of the pre-season matches and the clash with Videoton FC Fehérvár.
“I was pleased to be in the starting line-up in my first match after the transfer and then to score later on as well. That helped me, and I think I was also able to prove myself to the staff in the pre-season matches” – Ákos began. He had already made his mark with a spectacular long-range goal in the victory over BVSC-Zugló.
“We scored a lot of goals and mostly played well in the pre-season matches. We tried several formations and I think we are ready for the start of the league campaign. I hope many supporters will come out for the season opener. I am very excited and happy that the team has a fan base like this behind it. We will work to dominate the whole match, create as many chances as possible and convert them at a good rate, while also keeping a clean sheet and taking all three points” – our 22-year-old player said about the upcoming match.
