The first half produced chances but no goals. For a long time in the second half it also looked as though the match would finish goalless, but then came a dramatic finale. It was the 79th minute when home defender Dávid Zana gave Hódmezővásárhely the lead. (1-0) Our head coach Gábor Kovács reacted to the goal by sending Kristóf Kenéz into action in place of Botond Sebe. It later proved to be an excellent decision, as in the 89th minute our 17-year-old player – scoring his second goal for Kispest – rescued a point for Honvéd II. (1-1)
It is not the first time our second-team coach has made such an effective intervention during a match: in September, bringing on Szilveszter Hetyei at Monor was worth three points.
Just like the league match between the two sides in August, the return fixture also ended in a 1-1 draw. Next week we play for the final time in the autumn season, when Szolnoki MÁV FC will be our opponents at the Tiszaligeti Stadion.
