National team head coach Alexandra Szarvas has announced her squad for the friendly matches against Malta on November 29 and December 3. Our goalkeeper Fruzsina Schildkraut has also been called up.
The team will travel to Malta next Tuesday to close the year with two friendly matches against the island nation. The first match will be played behind closed doors.
Fruzsina Schildkraut: „It always fills me with the same good feeling and pride to receive a call-up because it validates my work. This is always a big thing in an athlete's life, I am proud, and it is positive feedback for the club as well. Ahead of the Nations League, these two matches are a chance to practise new things and try out new players. I hope I get an opportunity and that I can make the most of it.”
Fruzsi made her national-team debut on September 18, 2020. Most recently she was part of the squad for the European Championship qualifier against Scotland at the end of October, but her last appearance came on April 13, 2021 in the friendly against Bosnia.
