Just as our men’s team recently did, our women’s side will also play during the international break. On Friday, October 24 from 13:00, we host Ferencváros U19 in a friendly at the Honvéd Akadémia. We draw our supporters’ attention to the fact that the match will be played behind closed doors.
The match is an excellent opportunity for the girls to return to league action well prepared. Fradi’s youngsters lead the U19 league, having won five matches so far and stumbled only once, against MTK, while we sit eighth in the Simple Women’s League table with nine points. Balázs Dörnyei’s team are unbeaten in the last two rounds: first they beat Újpest 3–0 away, then drew with Szekszárd. In the next league round, on November 1, we visit PMFC.
