The two teams met three times last season: twice in the league and once in the Hungarian Cup, with PAFC, who finished third in the league, coming out on top on all three occasions. Both sides have started this season well. We earned a valuable-looking 1–1 draw against reigning champions Ferencváros and then won 2–0 away to Szeged in round two. PAFC also won their first match by two goals, beating Szeged-based St. Mihály 3–1, but lost 2–1 to MTK in the second round.
