Looking to repeat the upset against ESMTK – Our reserves visit Pesterzsébet

Our reserve team finished the previous round with a massive triumph, hosting title contenders III. Kerületi TVE in Kispest, where after a goalless first half, Dominik Hancz's goal kept all three points at home. Prior to that clash, the Óbuda side had suffered just one league defeat all season, with Gábor Kaszai's squad previously falling only to Vasas. Alongside the valuable three points, our team also secured their first-ever victory over III. Kerület.

On Sunday at 13:00, István Körtvélyesi's squad travels to Pesterzsébet. ESMTK's performance has undoubtedly been remarkable, having suffered just one defeat—away at Csepel—alongside six wins and three draws. In the previous round, Zoltán Turi's team claimed a three-goal victory against Szegedi VSE, though the success was overshadowed by a serious injury to Tamás Molnár, to whom we wish a speedy recovery. The player was injured during an aerial duel and immediately rushed to hospital, where examinations confirmed a fractured jawbone.
