Information, facts and figures – everything you need to know about the match against PAFC.

May 27, 2023 – a date every Honvéd supporter remembers with bitterness and that every Kispest fan has probably etched into their memory for life. We played the final round of the 2022-23 NB I season in Felcsút, with top-flight survival at stake. We will not revisit the images or reopen the wounds, but it was the match after which, following 20 years, we had to say goodbye to the first division and then spent three years in NB II. The pain was not eased by the fact that later the MLSZ refereeing committee also acknowledged that a serious refereeing error had occurred, one that affected the battle to avoid relegation.

Although this rivalry dates back only to 2013 and cannot be measured on a historic scale, it nevertheless carries considerable prestige – not least because of all this. There is little point dwelling on the past now: the 26th chapter is coming, and in Round 8 of the 2026-27 OTP Bank Liga season our team travel to Felcsút.

The hosts have started the league well and will go into Friday's opening match of the round from the top of the table. We ultimately left Győr without a point after conceding a penalty in the final moments, although judging by the pattern of the game it was not the first match in this campaign after which the coaching staff and the public could speak of ‘dropped points’  – and even so, only six points separate the sides. Our women's team, meanwhile, recorded a somewhat surprising 2–0 victory in Kispest on Wednesday, and now, as the saying goes, hopefully 'there is more to come'!

Below we have collected the most important information ahead of Friday's match against PAFC, which kicks off at 19:30.

Supporter information

– The match kicks off at 19:30 on Friday at the Pancho Aréna in Felcsút.

– Tickets for the away section are sold out!

– Honvéd supporters can park on the gravel road by heading towards Bicske at the Bicske–Csákvár–Felcsút roundabout.

– The stadium gates will also open two hours before kick-off, at 17:30.

– In a statement, PAFC drew visiting supporters' attention to the following: “We draw the attention of visiting supporters to the fact that fans wearing the colours, shirt, scarf, etc. of Kispest–Honvéd FC will not be permitted to enter the home sectors even if they hold a valid ticket for those sections.”

– The match will be broadcast live by M4Sport

Facts and figures

– The overall head-to-head record from Honvéd's perspective: 25 matches, 11 wins, 6 draws, 8 defeats, 37 goals scored, 26 conceded.

– The most common scoreline is 2–1: Felcsút have won by that score three times, Kispest four times.

– There have been 7 red cards in the matches to date. Four of our players – Dominik Nagy, Bertalan Bocskay, Albi Doka and, most recently, Brandon Domingues – have been sent off, while Patrick Mevoungou, Jonathan Heris and Liridon Latifi have seen red for Felcsút.

– Honvéd's longest unbeaten run in the fixture stands at 6 matches. Between 2013 and 2015, our team recorded 4 wins and 2 draws.

– We have played Felcsút only once in September so far, on September 29, 2018. In Felcsút, the hosts eventually celebrated thanks to a goal from Josip Knezevic.

PLAYERS WHO REPRESENTED BOTH CLUBS

– From Felcsút's current squad, nine-cap international Dániel Lukács played in Kispest between 2014 and 2020, recording 2 goals and 3 assists in 22 competitive matches. On our side, alongside the Somogyi brothers, Ádám Gyurcsó and Bonifác Csonka also played in Felcsút. Ádám Somogyi and Tamás Somogyi each spent four seasons there (2020-24), while Bonifác Csonka spent nine seasons in Felcsút (2007-2016). Ádám Gyurcsó represented the club for just one season (2019-20), but finished that campaign as the Hungarian Cup's top scorer.
