In the previous round we won 3-0 away to Astra, while the team from Szombathely lost 3-0 to defending champions Ferencváros. Eight points and three places separate the two sides: Viktória are currently eighth in the table, while we remain firmly in fifth.
The teams have met three times so far in the top flight. The first meeting came in October 2016, when the Szombathely side won 2-1, before Viktória also came out on top 2-0 in March 2017. The teams' autumn meeting in Szombathely ended in a 0-0 draw. This is our opportunity to improve our record and secure our first league victory against the team from Vas county.
