Because of the Hungarian Cup fixtures, there is no NB III league round this weekend. Honvéd II used the break to play a friendly against 43. sz. Építők at the Honvéd-MFA Youth Centre. Honvéd II won 3–0 thanks to a hat-trick from Menyhárt Barnabás.
Kovács Gábor: – It was a very useful match that fitted well into our preparations. I would also like to thank our opponents for coming and accommodating all of our requests. We played two 35-minute halves because we had few substitutes. The players who were returning from injury or had had less playing time so far in the league were given more opportunities this time. I was very satisfied with the players' attitude and performance, and of course with the result as well. We were able to practise many elements in a competitive setting that can work to our advantage during the league season. We could gain confidence both individually and as a team.
