Our team made an excellent start to the match, as Máté Pintér beat Schrenck as early as the 4th minute, and five minutes later Hancz's goal made it 2-0. Budaörs pulled one back through a Schmidtka header in the first half, but the teams still went into the break with Kispest in front. In the second half the visitors punished several individual errors and, thanks to two substitutes, turned the game around. First Jármai found our net, then four minutes later Olivér Fekete scored from Szedlár's pass. In the 70th minute the visitors' advantage grew to two goals, this time Patrik Szécsi finding the net after a cross. Just a few minutes later Budaörs were awarded a penalty, which Szedlár converted to set the final score.
Gábor Kovács's assessment: We played two contrasting halves. In the first half we dominated, put together beautiful attacks, scored fine goals and created a lot of chances. In the second half we conceded goals from uncertainty, lapses and individual mistakes, and it is a major criticism of the team that they surrendered to the opponent. There was no leader in the side; nobody was able to rise to that task. We cannot make mistakes like these during the league season.
There is now only one match left in our preparation period; in a week's time we host Érd at the Magyar Futball Akadémia.
