Hungary's age-group national team held its final dress rehearsal for the EURO qualifiers more than a month ago: the national side lost 2–0 to Sweden on February 28, then a few days later the United States beat Hungary by six goals. National-team coach Tibor Gajdóczi stressed that his players gained valuable experience and the matches prepared them appropriately for the April EURO qualifiers.
The next Hungary U19 programme will take place between April 7–19, 2026 and includes European Championship qualifiers. Hungary will battle Spain, Portugal and Northern Ireland for progression. Nikolett Krizsan and Petra Nyul can wear the national colours from our club, while Gyöngyvér Szalay has been named as a reserve.
Congratulations and best of luck to our players!
