Following an emphatic victory over Videoton FC Fehérvár, our women's team had the chance to prove themselves in the cup on Saturday at 11:00 AM, taking on ZTE FC at the Zalaegerszegi Ifjúsági Sportcentrum. The hosts had reached this stage by defeating SC Sopron and Budaörs, while Balázs Dörnyei's squad entered the Simple Women's Cup in Round 4.
Our side took the lead as early as the 6th minute through Fanni Vachter, and it didn't take long for more to follow: defender Simona Horváthová also found the net, before team captain Sára Krisztin added her name to the scoresheet. Our Slovak player struck again just seven minutes later, bagging her second of the match in Zalaegerszeg and her third across all competitions this season. The goals kept coming in quick succession late in the half: Maria Palama, Hanna Alasz, and Panna Nagy all beat the home keeper, sending our team into the break with a commanding seven-goal advantage (0–7).
After the restart, Panna Nagy and Nelli Szilvási extended our lead even further, with the 18-year-old scoring her first goal in the cup competition. Fanni Vachter added two more goals in the second half, contributing another hat-trick to our team's triumph. In the closing stages, Hajna Vas rounded off the 12–0 scoreline as our team progressed to the quarter-finals in dominant fashion.
