We came close to an upset against the league leaders

We started the match at a very good tempo, with Pasar beginning in goal this time instead of Schildkraut. Play was mostly concentrated in midfield and neither side was able to create a major chance. In the 26th minute Morris received a red card, meaning we had to compete with ten players against the title contenders for the rest of the match. We went into the break with the score at 0-0.

The pattern of the game did not change after the restart and we remained equal opponents to Győr until the 56th minute, when White gave the hosts the lead. (1-0) We did not stop after the goal and at times even outplayed the Győr side. Although our team battled hard, ETO eventually won the match 1-0.

Our women's team will next play DVTK at the Honvéd MFA Utánpótlás Központ on Saturday, November 9 at 13:00.
