Although our play was still somewhat disjointed in the first half, in the second period – also thanks to an excellent attitude – we managed to overcome the difficulties and secure progression. The first goal of the match came in the 36th minute, when after an unfortunate touch the home side's player Emese Steyer put the ball into her own net. The score then remained unchanged for a long time in the second half, until first Rebeka Róth, returning from injury, scored in the 75th minute, and three minutes later Blanka Bokor also found the net to seal a 3–0 Honvéd victory.

Balázs Dörnyei, head coach:
„I did not really like the first half. It is true that we tried new things in the match, but we did not react well to the challenge. We had to put one or two things right at half-time and also make substitutions. I am completely satisfied with the second half; we played with a good spirit and played good football. The winning margin could even have been bigger, but the key in a cup competition is to progress. We look forward to our next opponent in the spring.”
In the next round we travel to Viktoria FC. The Szombathely side eliminated Szekszárd with a 2–0 victory in this round.
Our team has another match on Saturday. In round 7 of the Simple Women's League, from 15:00 we will be the guests of Újpest FC at the Újpest Football Sports Centre.
