DVTK visited the Bozsik Arena in Round 16 of the Simple Women's League. As is known, from this round our women's team are also playing their home matches in the stadium used by our first team. We recently faced the Miskolc side in the Hungarian Cup semi-final and, after an extremely tight 1–1 draw in regulation time, prevailed on penalties. Our opponents in the April 29 final will be FTC-Telekom.
In the 11th minute Pierre-Jerome miscontrolled a back-pass and Vachter reacted sharply, but the French defender still managed to force our forward slightly wide and her effort went just past the left post. In the 23rd minute Pierre-Jerome collected the ball near our penalty area and crossed into the box, where Nagy Panna arrived ahead of everyone and steered the ball past Krizsan over the line (0–1). In the 32nd minute Vachter was sent through, but Orgoványi read the move and took the ball off her foot, so Miskolc retained their one-goal lead. In the 37th minute Vachter again found herself facing goal, but Orgoványi saved. The half ended with a long-range effort from Bokor and a close-range attempt from Vachter, both flying over the crossbar. After the restart our team controlled the match even more. In the 50th minute Csáki crossed for Czinege, whose shot after a clever first touch struck the post. Three minutes later the visitors launched a dangerous counterattack, but Papp's shot went well wide. In the 62nd minute Krizsan had to save from Madarász's free-kick. One minute later Balázs Dörnyei made a substitution, and it immediately injected fresh energy into our attacking play. Barely a minute later Vachter battled for the ball and could only be stopped illegally inside the penalty area. The referee awarded a penalty and the fouled player confidently blasted it into the left side of the goal (1–1). That clearly broke a barrier. In the 69th minute Vachter raced onto Czinege's pass on the offside line and went one-on-one at Pierre-Jerome. She beat the defender and shot, but the ball deflected off the French player's leg and went behind. The corner produced another goal: after Simona Horváthová's delivery – just as in Miskolc – Czinege Eszter scored (2–1). In the 86th minute we delivered the final blow to DVTK. Another goal followed Horváthová's corner, this time Roth headed into the net ( fejelt a kapuba (3–1). We travel to Győr on April 1, then return home on April 5 when Újpest visit the Bozsik Arena.
