Balázs Dörnyei:
“We achieved a very valuable victory against a well-prepared team. It was not easy to break down Viktória’s defence, and the pitch did not help quick play either. We had to make changes at half-time and simplify our game a little. Both halves were fine, as were our mentality and discipline. The opponent did not really create chances, which is very important because that makes winning a match much easier. Our set pieces also worked well; only small mistakes kept us from scoring from them, but we are clearly on the right path in this area too. We are very happy to have reached the final four, and now we also know that Diósgyőr will be our opponent. We are ready for the trip to Diósgyőr, especially because we lost there in the autumn and we would like to put that right by reaching the Hungarian Cup final."
Fanni Vachter:
“We prepared very seriously for today’s match because we knew there is only one chance to earn progression in the cup. The game started well and we managed to take an early lead through Eszter Czinege. I think we succeeded in dominating the match. We played on a difficult pitch, and we thank Viktória because we were able to play against a team defending in a very compact way."
