Our first away win is in the bag

Simple Women's League, round 7:
PMFC - Budapest Honvéd FC 1-2 (1-1)
goalscorers: Vasile (9.), Nádudvari (45., 67.)

PMFC started the match better and took the lead as early as the ninth minute through Vasile. Scoring her first goal of the season, Vasile found the net from 18 metres. We then had two good chances, first through Csuhai and then Kurkutovic, but Csuhai's shot and Kurkutovic's header both missed the target. In the final minute of the first half we equalised through a header from our captain Nádudvari, so the score was 1-1 at the break.

After the restart Belaya got into a shooting position in the 55th minute and aimed for the top right, but the home side's effort went narrowly wide. We played with much more courage as the match went on, and in the 67th minute Nádudvari struck again, scoring a superb volley from more than 20 metres. Our captain was excellent throughout the match, contributing defensively as well, and her second goal is a strong contender for the goal of the round. Coming back from 0-1 down, we won 2-1 in Pécs to claim our first away victory. It was already our third win in seven league rounds.

In the next round, on October 19 from 14:00, we host PAFC at the Honvéd MFA Youth Centre.
