After eight rounds, our team are eighth in the table with nine points, while our current opponents Pécs occupy sixth place with 12 points. Last season's meetings between the two sides were closely fought: we won 2–1 at home in the autumn, while the spring match against the Baranya side ended 1–1.
We were not without a match during the international break either – we played a friendly against Ferencváros's young players and won 5–3. Pécs lost 1–0 to PAFC in the previous round, while we drew 1–1 against Szekszárd.
An exciting match is in prospect as two evenly matched teams test themselves against each other in Pécs on Saturday.
