Our postponed Matchday 2 fixture against Vasas FC II was played at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Gábor Kovács’s team last played on Fáy Street in March, when the sides went into half-time at 1–1. Although Szilveszter Hetyei gave us the lead in the 64th minute, the hosts equalised late on and the match ended in a four-goal draw.
After that draw in March, we were unable to take any points in Angyalföld this time. The hosts went ahead through Domonkos Vincze in the 32nd minute, and the 18-year-old scored again a few minutes later to give Vasas a two-goal lead at half-time. Balázs Horányi extended the hosts’ advantage after the break, and we could not pull a goal back, eventually losing 3–0.
Our second team next play at the academy against Szegedi VSE on Wednesday, 26 August, at 5:30 p.m.
