As we know, our second team's pre-season has also come to an end. They played three friendlies before the league campaign and prepared for the start of the season with an encouraging record of two wins. Our players host Békéscsaba at the academy on Sunday at 11:00 in the opening round of NB III's South-East group.
Békéscsaba played in the Merkantil Bank Liga last season, but finished bottom of the table and were relegated from the second division after two years. In the closing stages of 2025/26, the club underwent major changes. Management parted company with head coach Sándor Csató by mutual consent and Zsolt Balog took over his duties. The purple-and-whites began pre-season under Zsolt Balog, before the club officially confirmed that Szergej Kuznyecov would be Békéscsaba's new head coach.
