As is well known, István Körtvélyesi's side closed out matchday 14 with a four-goal victory, claiming a 5–1 win over BKV Előre last Sunday thanks to goals from Kristóf Kenéz, Dominik Hancz, Dominik Forró, and Márk Szelényi.
Our second team will continue their league campaign on Saturday at 1:00 PM away at Sándorfalvi SKE, who currently sit 13th in the table. The club's history dates back to 1932, and in 2026 they achieved one of the greatest successes in their history. In the 2025–2026 season, they won the Csongrád-Csanád county first division undefeated, and then earned promotion to the NB III for the first time in their history via a double victory over Szarvas in the play-offs, winning 7–1 on aggregate. The team from Csongrád-Csanád County has caused several upsets this season: they defeated Újpest in the second round and recently put an end to Vasas' winning streak.
