Just as in the autumn round, the two sides drew again. We started the match with greater confidence, so much so that we took the lead through Gabriella Kós in the third minute. (1-0)
We continued to put together good attacks and controlled the match, before Viktória regrouped towards the end of the half and improved defensively. The game then became more balanced, and we went into the break with a 1-0 lead.
The pattern of play changed in the second half. The side from Szombathely seemed to gain a physical advantage over us and managed to equalise with a shot that deflected in off a block. (1-1)
Neither team scored again, so overall the draw was a fair result.
Our goalscorer Gabriella Kós assessed the match as follows: “Unfortunately, the game did not turn out the way we wanted. We had some good moments, but we also made a lot of mistakes, and in the end that is why we were unable to get the win. I feel we deserved the three points, but we need to concentrate better so that next time we do not leave room for errors like these. We will keep working, learn from this and try to correct our mistakes in the next match.”
