The team started with two great opportunities: first Kamber, then Youla missed a one-on-one chance. Fortunately, both managed to find the back of the net later on. Honvéd BKE dominated the pitch, so it came as a bit of a surprise when the visitors took the lead through Urbán, 0–1. Both the players and the crowd questioned the legitimacy of the goal. It very much appeared to have been scored from an offside position.
Fortunately, our side responded quickly: Kamber equalized just two minutes later, 1–1. Another three minutes elapsed and Honvéd were already in the lead. Youla was brought down inside the penalty box, and he stepped up to convert the spot-kick confidently himself, 2–1. No further goals were scored before the break.
Early in the second half, the Kispest side quickly put the game beyond doubt. First Youla and then Andric found the net to extend the lead to 4–1. Just like in the first period, Honvéd BKE enjoyed total control of the match in the second half.
In the closing stages of the game, Dunaharaszti's net rippled three times in the space of eight minutes. Andric scored once and Youla netted twice more, sealing a resounding 7–1 victory for Honvéd BKE.
Honvéd BKE quickly put last week's stumble behind them, claiming a dominant, high-scoring, and well-deserved win.
