We had to wait seven and a half minutes for the first chance, when Sükösd won the ball in midfield and used the outside of his right foot to send Tóth through, but Gyetván produced a brilliant save from his shot. In the 17th minute we had an opportunity: Rácz turned beautifully away from two defenders and immediately poked the ball towards goal, but Szűcs saved. Nine minutes later Szűcs again had to deal with Átrok's left-footed strike from 18 metres. In the 30th minute we were awarded a penalty after Tóth kicked Szamosi's leg inside the box. Rácz calmly rolled the spot kick down the middle to score his first goal of the season in his third match. (1-0)
We could have doubled our lead shortly afterwards, as Átrok beat two Csepel defenders from his own half before aiming for the bottom-right corner from the edge of the box, missing by little. The final attack of the half ended with Kenéz's header rebounding off the post in front of the goal line.
The second half opened with a low shot from Polák that went just wide of the bottom-right corner. In the 58th minute two substitutes combined for one of Csepel's biggest chances: Torda met Kovács's cross and headed just over from three metres. In the 63rd minute we finally doubled our advantage, Rácz volleying Benkő's cut-back into the net. (2-0)
In the 85th minute Hetyei took a free kick from 17 metres, but the ball went wide of the bottom-right corner. A minute later he did get his goal: Menyhárt won the ball in the middle of the Csepel half and sent Hetyei through, who rolled a right-footed shot past Szűcs into the left corner. (3-0)
With this victory we extended our unbeaten run to four matches in a row, and we have not conceded a single goal in those four league games.
Our second team will next play a league match on October 24, when we travel to Angyalföld.
