The match began in line with the pre-match expectations: Győr controlled the game, and the visitors' dominance produced a goal in the 13th minute when their foreign player Kennedy White beat Schildkraut (0–1).
Győr continued to dominate, and that led to another goal: in the 21st minute Petra Kocsán found our net (0–2).
In the 33rd minute, a goal from Boglárka Vida gave the visitors a three-goal lead (0–3).
At the end of the half, Dóra Süle also scored with some fortune, so the teams went to the dressing room with us four goals behind.
The pattern did not change after the break. The visitors continued to dominate and we could not find an answer against ETO. Győr created several chances but did not add another goal until the 75th minute, when Petra Kocsán scored her second (0–5).
In the 85th minute Csuhai threatened, but Bíró was able to save. ETO collected the three points with a convincing performance and remain in the fight for the championship.
Anna Nádudvari, captain: “It was a huge experience for us to be able to play here at the Bozsik Stadium. I hope we will have more opportunities like this in the future. A five-goal defeat makes everyone very sad. Tomorrow we will rest and then focus on the next match. In the first half we were constantly out of position and were not where we needed to be; the first half was not good at all. None of what we had practised in training came through. The second half was much better in that respect.”
In the next round, we travel to Diósgyőr on Saturday from 14:00.
