We created the first chance, Benkő dribbled inside from the left and then shot right-footed, but Zsombor Molnár held the effort. Vasas II took the lead in the 8th minute when Csaba Molnár carried the ball towards Gyetván. Gincsai slid in on the shot but was unable to make the clearance. We created more chances after that, with Kenéz having the biggest opportunity, but Molnár made a big save when our attacker was through. The home side doubled their lead in the 27th minute: a corner from the left found Benjámin Szabó at the far post, who volleyed the ball into our net.
In the first half of the second period the hosts threatened with long-range efforts, and in the 66th minute Gyetván tipped an Angyalföld attempt behind for a corner with his fingertips. We got back into the match in the 71st minute, when Hetyei slid in to meet Polák's cross and, while falling, scooped the ball into Molnár's goal. Unfortunately we could not find an equaliser in the closing stages, so we left Fáy Street with a 2-1 defeat.
