The match began at a high tempo, with promising attacks at both ends, but it was the visitors who took the lead: García found the net in the 29th minute (0–1). Early in the second half the Ferencváros forward was on target again, this time doubling the advantage after an individual move (0–2). In the remainder of the match we managed to create several dangerous situations and launched energetic attacks, causing Ferencváros problems on a number of occasions, but unfortunately we were unable to score.

Balázs Dörnyei: We played a very good match against Ferencváros. I think the result could have turned out in many different ways. We had our chances to take a point. In truth, we conceded two goals: one was a fortunate goal for the opponent, the other came from an individual action. The team was very focused and composed. We played the football we know, and caused Ferencváros a lot of problems with it. I am sorry that we could not score from our many opportunities, but we have to continue on this path because by the end of the autumn season we really found the style of play with which we can be successful in the future. Congratulations to the girls on the match – obviously not because of the result, but because of the way they played.
Rebeka Róth: I think we managed to carry last week’s mentality into today’s match. We followed the coach’s instructions and reduced the opponent’s scoring opportunities quite effectively. Compared with the match against Fradi in August, we have improved a great deal, even if that was not reflected in the result today. With a little luck we could have played an even closer match, but at the moment Ferencváros are still this much further ahead of us. We will continue working from here so that we can be more successful in the spring.
