We suffered a 3–0 defeat against ETO FC in round 6 of the Simple Women's League.

Balázs Dörnyei was not in an easy position, as he could not count on six-goal striker Fanni Vachter, although new signing Daniela Kosinska was able to make her debut in the match. In the 12th minute Vida found herself in a good position, then at the other end Caković arrived onto Simon's cross in the 18th minute, but both chances went begging. Three minutes later Kosinka saved Matos's long-range effort. In the 31st minute Süle tried from distance, but the ball went over. In the 37th minute Kosinka had to make two saves within a minute, while before the break Krisztin headed narrowly wide. After a goalless first half,  the pattern of the game did not change much.

Early in the second half Kosinka made another save. Simon shot from an angle in the 54th minute, but there was no goal. A minute later our goalkeeper saved Matos's shot, and Vida tried to convert the rebound but could not score either. In the 60th minute, however, the visitors took the lead through Csilla Savanya's penalty (0–1). In the 71st minute our former player Joseline Matos doubled the visitors' advantage (0–2). Late on, Kosinka still saved a Matos header, but in the 83rd minute the Brazilian forward scored again to complete the 0–3 final score.

Budapest Honvéd FC – ETO FC 0-3 (0-0)
Honvéd: Kosinska – Koszo, Csáki, Cakovic (Kerekes 67.), Krisztin (Szilvási 80.), Földvári (Nádudvari 80.), Horváthová, Vas (Nagy 80.), Sain, Bokor, Simon (Johnson 71.).
Head coach: Balázs Dörnyei
G: Savanya (60.), Matos (71., 83.)

Balázs Dörnyei, head coach: „I think the first half was our best half of the season so far. We created several chances and were closer to scoring than ETO, but unfortunately those opportunities were missed. Obviously we have absentees, but the players who came into the team in their place were also able to get into good positions. I really liked the first half; there was no particular problem at the break and absolutely nothing suggested that we would begin the second half so flat. In fact, the players were fired up as well. At the start of the second half, however, we fell asleep a little. There were two situations that should have served as warning signs – they did not result in shots on target, but ETO produced good moves and even got as far as offside positions. After that, you can say that the penalty came from an unfortunate movement by Eszter Csáki, although I think the first half was by far her best performance of the matches she has played so far. These things happen; she was just a little over-eager at the start of the second half. What hurts me more is the second goal, because it came from a very easy, simple ball played forward and although we had discussed these situations, we still could not deal with it. At the third goal, the opposing forward should have been shown a red card because she slid into our goalkeeper with a straight leg and the ball stayed with her as a result. But I do not think that is an excuse, because we ourselves were unable to score today.”

Sára Krisztin: „We wanted to respond to last week's defeat and made strong promises before the match; we really tried to fight for every ball. I think we had chances in the first half that, with a little more concentration and if more of us had managed to get into the final third, we could have used more effectively. We really missed Fanni today and I wish her a speedy recovery from here as well. We wanted to win for her too, but we will definitely keep going. Next week we have a cup round, which we also want to win, and I feel that after today's defeat we still have to show the strength of this team. We will correct the mistakes and move forward together.”
