As is known, there was a midweek round in the Simple Women's League, so on Wednesday we hosted PAFC at the academy. After a goalless first half, events gathered pace: first Panna Nagy found the net, then, making use of our numerical advantage, Fanni Vachter also scored, and we therefore recorded a historic victory over the side from Felcsút. The round also featured a Budapest derby: leaders MTK secured a one-goal victory over Újpest and therefore remain top of the table.
Our team will play away at Astra HFC on Sunday. The hosts travelled to Pécs in the previous round but left the PMFC Stadion without a point. Newly promoted Astra have one win, two draws and five defeats after eight rounds and sit tenth in the table, while our team go into the match from sixth position.

Astra HFC was founded in 2011 as the successor to Taksony SE's women's football section. The club achieved notable success in its very first season, 2011–2012: six different age-group teams finished on the podium, while the senior side also lifted the Hungarian Cup. In the following years the NB I team consistently finished among the leaders: a year later they were runners-up in the cup and finished third in NB I. In the 2013–2014 season they improved their league position further, taking the silver medal and the second step on the podium. Last season they competed in the second division, but won the Women's NB II Eastern Group and, together with Videoton FC Fehérvár, secured a place in the top flight.
Head-to-head history:
We most recently met Astra during the summer preparations at Bozsik Aréna, where we won 3–1. The two teams have met eight times in total, with Kispest's record standing at three wins, two draws and three defeats.
