Three matches, three wins, nine points – we could hardly have closed out the past week in better fashion! As is well known, our women's team has had a busy and successful run: a confident win over DVTK, an impressive upset victory against PAFC, and capping off the week with three points away at Astra HFC. Balázs Dörnyei's side currently sits in sixth place in the table with five wins, one draw, and three defeats. The field is tight, as only one point separates us from the Felcsút side, while Újpest and ETO are also just three points ahead of our team. In Round 10 of the Simple Női Liga, we are looking to continue our good run in Székesfehérvár, where we will take on Videoton FC Fehérvár away from home. The champions of the women's NB II Western Group suffered a heavy 17-goal defeat at Felcsút in the previous round, and enter the encounter in ninth place with three wins and six defeats.

In the 2021–2022 season, the team won the NB II Western Group, earning promotion to the top flight for the first time in its history. They spent the following two seasons competing in the Simple Női Liga before suffering relegation back to the second division. However, the team bounced back quickly: celebrating the NB II Western Group title last season, they earned another chance in the top division alongside Astra HFC.
Head-to-head:
As for the head-to-head record between the two teams, their paths have never crossed before, making this the first-ever competitive meeting between the sides.
