Our women's team earned an emphatic 9–0 victory against Videoton FC Fehérvár on Saturday in Round 10 of the Simple Női Liga. Fanni Vachter scored a hat-trick, Nelli Szilvási netted a brace, while Hanna Alasz, Eszter Csáki, Linett Bozsik, and Panna Nagy each contributed a goal to the triumph.

Balázs Dörnyei's squad arrived in Székesfehérvár on the back of three consecutive victories, so the goal could be nothing other than closing the week with another success. The home side's starting lineup featured two of our former players, Gyöngyvér Szalay and Réka Feil, both of whom spent a season with our club. As for our team, head coach Balázs Dörnyei named Hanna Alasz in the starting eleven for the second time, while Anna Sain made her first start following her injury.

It took only three minutes for the deadlock to be broken: our young forward, Hanna Alasz, fired us into the lead. Our player was unavailable to the coaching staff last season due to a torn cruciate ligament, so she was able to return to the pitch after a long absence, and following her debut, she has now scored her first goal in Honvéd colours (0–1). Eight minutes later, capitalizing on a home turnover, Panna Nagy played the ball into the box for Fanni Vachter, who turned towards goal after taking a touch and calmly rolled it into the far corner (0–2). In the 19th minute, our team captain, Sára Krisztin, rolled the ball back to the well-timed run of Eszter Csáki. Although our 19-year-old footballer had an earlier effort ruled out for offside, this time she was not to be denied, coolly slotting into the middle of the net without hesitation (0–3). Shortly after, our midfielder Linett Bozsik converted a penalty awarded to us, firing composedly into the bottom left corner (0–4). We closed the first half with a five-goal cushion after Panna Nagy sent Vachter through, who picked out the top left corner from the edge of the six-yard box. Although home goalkeeper Janka Major got a hand to the ball, she could not prevent it from going in (0–5).

After the restart, the hosts quickly created two opportunities, but in the 49th minute, Nelli Szilvási picked out the far corner with pinpoint precision from 18 meters, scoring her first NB I goal in a Honvéd shirt (0–6). Going forward, our 18-year-old struck again, followed by goals from Panna Nagy and Fanni Vachter, further extending our lead (0–9).

We closed the match against Videoton FC Fehérvár with a resounding nine-goal victory, claiming our fourth win in a row. Our women's team will next be in action next Saturday against ZTE FC in Round 4 of the Hungarian Cup.

Our primary goal was to win the match, and if the opportunity arose during the game to build as large a margin as possible, we would naturally be very pleased with that. Fortunately, we scored our first goal very early, and the girls played with great imagination and patience. The first half went very well, we managed to keep our composure, and it is a special joy that so many different players got on the scoresheet."

Nelli Szilvási: "Our team played a very good match; everyone contributed their part, and we took our chances well. Both halves were successful, and everyone can be proud of themselves. I am very happy that I could help the team with two goals."
