Last Sunday, István Körtvélyesi's side took to the pitch against Újpest FC II for the first time in three years, keeping all three points at home with an impressive victory. Bonifác Csonka gave us the lead in the 27th minute, before Szilveszter Hetyei and Kristóf Kenéz added to the scoreline, sealing a 3–0 win over the purple-and-whites. However, a real test awaits in the next round as we continue the league campaign on Saturday against table-toppers Gyulai Termál FC.
The hosts lead the standings confidently with a 100% record: in Round 8, they claimed a 4–1 away win over Szegedi VSE, celebrating their eighth consecutive victory. Their defensive record is equally remarkable, having conceded the fewest goals in the division alongside III. Kerületi TVE. Over eight rounds, their defense was breached only three times, while they also boast the most prolific attack in the league, having scored 30 goals in total.
